Kahungunu Summary

 A couple of weeks ago we had to summaries a story on kahungunu.

The goal was to do more than 5 slides but less than 8 (not including title page)

Then yesterday we were told we had to do a screencastify, thats no longer then 2 minutes, reading it all out

I had to use my mums laptop to finish this off so ignore the tabs i've got open 😅

- why all gisint students should go on camp -

Today in cybersmart we had to make a 1 minute video explaining\persuading why ALL gisint students should get the opportunity to go to camp.

I used screencastify last year but I was never good or comfortable when I using it so I am trying to feel less nervous as I will be using it more often, I had to film this very quickly so I still had time to post it on my blog so Im sorry if the quality is bad and you cant hear me too well.

Im not sure if youll be able to watch the video because I think I embedded it wrong but please tell me if you cant and I would love some feedback on how to make my posts better :)

~The Summer Learning Journey~

Last week we joined a summer blog competition, there are 2 starter activates that we can try out (registrations are open)

I dont know if I will actually be posting over the summer (because I'm lazy) but that doesnt mean you shouldnt! 

I decided to use this painting because the others were either really hard or for some reason lagged when I tried painting it.

I chose these colours because they go in order from red to green, like a rainbow!

The bottom one is the original, the top one is the one I made :)

 

-School Advertisement-

 Last week, we got put into random groups. (I was with Harle and Deacon) The first we had to do is pick what our advertisement was about. Then we had to make a script and make the photos more brighter (I didn't get to that). After we had to upload the picture and videos we have, read out our script and narrate it. My group couldn't come up with a script so we are behind but im sure I can finish it later :)

We filmed it all on Wevideo (this is my second time using it). 

Our group didnt get any videos/clips so we used the ones Mr fourie got, I would like advice on how to change clips smoothly and how to make a 30 second video more cooler and fun.

Fake Or Real?

 Today we made DLOs (Digital Learning Objects) to prove to everyone, everythings not real.

I made a rainbow among us character, I took a screenshot of 1 among us character, imported it into remove.bg, downloaded it then pasted that 1 photo multiple times into a google drawing. Then cropped 6 photo all differently. Coloured them all different colours, lined them up with each other so it would look like 1 whole among us character, put a pet on top of its head and put a imposter background behind it.

Making this made me realise people could fake almost anything using any media. From this day on I am going to start look at pictures and things I think are fake very closely! (you should too) It wasnt easy making my DLO but I think it looked awesome in the end! If you looked at my fake media would you think its real and would you fall for it? (probably not.) 

⭐ - Twilight Gala - ⭐

Last week we were making posters to promote our school gala.

We were using Pictochart to create our poster. If you want to make a poster click here

The easiest thing was getting use to this new media and how to use it.

The hardest thing was finding out where to import a png image (for the flowers)

I enjoyed using a new media and making a poster about our school gala!

Next time I would add more thing into my poster and make it look cooler and not so basic.
